We launched The Foyer, a modern intimate wedding venue in downtown Grand Rapids, to provide a more size and budget appropriate space for smaller events. But one of the biggest things we had on our mind was to create a private space for rehearsal dinners that was more than a side-room in a restaurant or bar. It needed to be private, full-service (so you didn’t have to worry about any details the night before your wedding), and it needed to be affordable.
We’ve only been open since January, but the verdict is in. We thought we could bring something cool to rehearsal dinners, but we had no idea how much we were going to love it!
Here’s a few things we love about rehearsal dinners at The Foyer:
- Guests are able to grab a drink from the bar the second they walk in. No lines. And no waiting for a server to come around and order drinks.
- Your food is ready whenever you are with dedicated service that’s not affected in any way by a busy kitchen.
- Plenty of room for everyone to stand, mingle, walk around, and meet new people … and not just the people sitting at their table.
- The Foyer is a fully designed space that’s created for a true social experience, not just a dinner.
